The Investor Visa (KITAS) is a visa type that allows foreigners to stay in Indonesia for 1-2 Years. The visa is extendable up to 4 times.

Application Process
Establish PT PMA Company
Set up a foreign-owned company (PT PMA) in Indonesia with minimum IDR 10 billion authorized capital and at least 25% paid up. Obtain NIB and business licenses through OSS-RBA system.
Verify Share Ownership
Ensure you have minimum IDR 1 billion personal shareholding and hold Director or Commissioner position. Commissioner-only shareholders need IDR 1.125 billion+ to work.
Prepare Documents
Gather all company documents, passport, photos, and bank statement. Agent will verify documents for completeness before submission.
Submit Application Online
Submit Investor KITAS application directly to Immigration through online system. No BKPM recommendation letter needed anymore (streamlined since 2019).
Receive e-Visa Approval
Upon approval, receive e-Visa (electronic visa) allowing entry to Indonesia. Print e-Visa for travel.
Enter Indonesia
Travel to Indonesia with e-Visa. Passport stamped with initial entry permit at immigration.
Convert to KITAS
Within 60 days of arrival, submit passport to immigration for biometric session (photo and fingerprints). Receive Investor KITAS card.
Local Registration
Within 14 days of KITAS issuance, register at Civil Department to obtain SKSKPS and STM (Police Certificate).
